Veneto Wine and Wineries, food and wine tours in Veneto

Veneto Region produces well known wines of great quality as Amarone della Valpolicella, Recioto, Valdobbiadene, Torcolato.

In addition to these famous and quite expensive wines, from Venice to Verona you will find excellent red wine, rose wine, white wine, and spirits, at affordable prices.

Do not limit your visit only to the classical wine tours spots as Valpolicella, Val d'Illasi, Soave and Valpodobbiadine, and head towards other beautiful hilly areas such as Berici, Euganei and Lessini. Here much attention and work has been devoted to ammeliorating  the quality of the wines creating the so-called "trend towards quality", with a wide variety of grapes, including native, and a series of small biodynamic wine productions.
Don't miss the Barbarano Riserva wine, a Red Tai variety that takes its name from Barbarano Vicentino, a small town at the base of the southern slopes of the Berici Hills, or to look for native grapes such as Carmenere (Berici), Pinello (Euganei) and Durello (Lessini).

Veneto is the ideal region for a great wine tour, combining historical places, its cities of art (Venice, Verona, Padua, Vicenza) with a wide offer of wine and food regional tradition.
You can easily find a farm holidays for you stay and enjoy fresh and organic products.
